Chris McGill called me one day for an interview, and since that call, my career has taken off through the roof. I went from an extrememly underpaid desktop technician who was low on options, to trying to figure out which job I wanted to take. Since he landed me my first “Real Tech Job,” I have gained confidence in my personal and professional life, become substantially more independent, gotten married, bought a house, and have twins on the way! He has made the extra effort to keep in contact with me to make sure all is well. I can't thank you enough Chris.

I want to thank you quickly for your advice. I have had other services who were trying to sell me their writing services give me a “free” review of my resume, and told me that I am actually telling too much, and that I needed to be shorter and more broad in my statements. “Leave them wanting to learn more about you based on generalizations” is what one service told me.

I am also relieved to hear your thoughts on its length. I come from the mindset that 1-page resumes are for people who are fresh out of college, and that one with several years of experience should be expected to have a 2-pager. However, I have been told by these services “no, no, no! Recruiters only have time to read one pagers. Anything more will get you tossed from consideration.” Thus, I have shrunk it down. Clearly that is a mistake!

Your input has been extremely refreshing, and I am very thankful for guidance!

Thank you, Chris. I had sent my resume out to multiple places hoping to get some kind of a review but no replies. You responded to me very promptly – I appreciate it.
